Room+ ("we", "our" or "us"), operated by Classic Houseware (Pty) Ltd, respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal information in line with the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA). This policy explains how we collect, use, store and protect your personal information when you visit roomplus.co.za, buy from us or contact us.

1. Information we collect

We may collect:

  • your name and surname;
  • email address and phone number;
  • billing and delivery addresses;
  • order and purchase history;
  • payment information, which is processed securely by our payment providers (we do not see or store your full card details);
  • messages you send us, including through live chat and email;
  • product reviews you choose to submit; and
  • technical and usage data such as IP address, browser type, device information, pages visited and how you interact with the site.

This information is collected when you place an order, create an account, subscribe to our newsletter, contact us, write a review, or browse the website.

2. How we use your information

We use your personal information to:

  • process and deliver your orders and handle returns and refunds;
  • send order confirmations, delivery updates and customer support messages;
  • invite you to review products you have bought;
  • improve our website, products and customer experience;

  • our e-commerce platform and payment providers (Shopify and its payment partners);
  • couriers and delivery partners;
  • email marketing and review platforms (including Judge.me);
  • website analytics and advertising providers (Google Analytics, Google Ads and Meta); and
  • website experience tools (Microsoft Clarity) and our live chat provider.

These providers may only process your information for the services they provide to us and must protect it. We may also disclose information where the law requires it.

4. Cookies, analytics and advertising

Our website uses cookies and similar technologies to make the site work, remember your cart, analyse traffic and measure and improve our advertising. Some of these tools, such as Microsoft Clarity, record how visitors interact with pages (for example clicks, taps and scrolling) so we can improve the site. We take steps to avoid capturing sensitive information such as payment details.

  • ask us to correct or delete your personal information;
  • object to the processing of your information, including for direct marketing; and
  • withdraw your consent where we rely on it.

8. Children

Our website is not intended for people under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
